Dr. Asish Biju, PharmD, BCPS, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Pharmacy and an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacist at OSF Cardiovascular Institute in Rockford, IL. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and completed a postdoctoral academic fellowship at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy, as well as a PGY-1 residency at Ascension Health.
Dr. Biju’s practice are primary focuses on transitional care in patients with heart failure and coronary artery disease. His research interests include emotional intelligence in pharmacy education, professional identity formation (PIF), and enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in academia and pharamcy practice. Dr. Biju is committed to advancing pharmacy practice through a combination of education, research, leadership, and professional service.
